Midland Federation of Model Engineers

About Us

The aim of the Midlands Federation of Model Engineers is to provide a forum for the interchange of information between model making clubs or societies in the Midlands and to foster the hobby of model construction in all its branches, particularly in connection with the following -

  1. Co-ordination of club Gala days, open meetings, regattas, exhibitions, etc, and the formation of an area annual programme.

  2. Promotion of closer co-operation between amateur and professional model makers, makers and users of prototypes and the public.

  3. Promotion of uniform rules and regulations for, and administration of, model competitions.

  4. Assistance in negotiations with local and national authorities for the use of suitable ground, buildings, and the like, for model making and operation purposes.

  5. Co-operation with other local or national organisations to further the above objectives.  


Membership is open to any bona-fide Model Making Society/Model Engineering Society in the Midlands area, please contact our secretary for further details.
